EMPLOYMENT

 

Portage Township Schools serves the families of the City of Portage, the communities of Ogden Dunes and South Haven, and the unincorporated areas of Portage Township.   Portage Township is located in Porter County, Indiana along the southern shores of Lake Michigan.   The district includes eight elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school.  Portage Township Schools selects teachers, administrators, and support staff who desire to work in an atmosphere dedicated to student achievement and success.
 
Portage Township Schools achieved the status of an "Indiana Exemplary District" during the 2007-2008 school year.

NOTE:  Portage Township Schools does not accept paper applications or resumes.  We require all applicants to use the district's online Application System.  When you submit your application for employment through Appli-track, you will receive an automatic e-mail acknowledgment indicating receipt of your application.  Due to the volume of applicants we receive, the district is unable to respond to telephone or email inquiries regarding the status of an application.
