ISTEP+ TESTING
The second and final portion of the ISTEP+ is being given to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students this week. I know you are all aware of the importance of this test and will help insure your children are well rested and that they have a good breakfast each day!

"INDIANS STRIKE OUT CANCER" BASEBALL GAME!
The Portage High School baseball team will be playing Tuesday, May 1st at Portage Little League baseball field for its annual "Indians Strike Out Cancer" game against South Central at 6:00 p.m. Proceeds will be donated to Jones 5th grader Ronnie Wilkins who just received a bone marrow transplant on May 26th. Admission is FREE and donation will be collected. The PHS baseball team will be presenting a check to the family for $25,000.
TUESDAY, MAY 8TH - ELECTION DAY
The kindergarten rooms will be used for viting on May 8th. Our kindergarten classrooms will be relocated in classrooms #2 and #11 for the day. Don't forget to exercise your right to vote! We are most fortunate to live in a country where this right is one of our most cherished freedoms!
