PTS TAG Grants

As of the 2025-2026 school year, the Indiana Department of Education has updated the laws that guide how school districts award Teacher Appreciation Grant (TAG) dollars. Our district admin team and the Portage Association of Teachers representatives have been working together to understand these changes and create a plan that is fair, compliant, and clear.

What You Need to Know

• Indiana recently updated the statewide TAG requirements.
• PTS and PAT collaborated on a districtwide application and implementation plan.
• All teachers who were employed in the 2024-2025 school year (last school year) are eligible for the TAG grant.
