We are so excited to have you join our community of learners at Portage Township Schools! Our staff is here to help your child grow both socially and academically as they get ready for that important transition into school.

Educational Approach
Children in our program benefit from:

  • Visual schedules that support daily routines
  • Hands-on learning activities to encourage active participation
  • Support tailored to each child's needs
  • On-site accommodations and services to include speech therapy, occupational therapy, and more for qualifying students
 
Our Preschool Schedule
Students attend either 3 days OR 5 days per week
  • Half-day option
    • AM: 7:45 am - 11:00 am
    • PM: 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Full-day option
    • 7:45 am - 2:00 pm
  • Breakfast: 7:45 am
  • Lunch/nap:10:30 am - 11:30 am
 
Tuition
Tuition for general education students:
  • 5-day full-day = $500/month
  • 5-day half-day = $350/month
  • 3-day full-day = $400/month
  • 3-day half-day = $250/month
Tuition for students eligible for special education services:
  • Half-day as outlined in IEP: State-funded
  • Full-day = $150/month
 
How to Enroll
  • Fill out and return the Enrollment Packet linked below.
    • The PTS Administration Building is open during the summer Monday-Thursday, 7:00-3:30.
    • Jones Elementary School is open during the school year Monday-Friday 7:00-3:30.
  • Complete our student online registration for new students.
  • Email enrollment documents to [email protected]
    • Copy of child's birth certificate
    • Copy of parent/guardian driver's license
    • Two electronically generated bills with the home mailing address
  • Once all paperwork and documents are submitted, a member of our staff will contact you to discuss next steps.
