ADA statement

Updated August 11

Portage Township Schools (PTS) is committed to making sure our website can be used by everyone, including people with disabilities. Our accessibility policy follows the rules of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Here’s what we’re doing to help:

  • Adding text for images

  • Creating forms that are easy to use

  • Making sure the site works without a mouse

  • Limiting Flash and JavaScript, and making sure the site still works even if those tools don’t

PTS also uses the UserWay Website Accessibility Widget, which helps improve how the website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

You can turn on the accessibility menu by clicking the icon in the corner of any page. Please wait a few seconds for it to fully load.

We're Always Working to Improve

PTS is always trying to improve website accessibility so everyone can use the site easily and without barriers. Some pages may not fully meet all accessibility standards yet, but we are working to fix this as soon as we can.
