Field House Community Hours Policies & Procedures
Visitors to our Field House must adhere to the following policies and procedures:
  • The Field House is open to Portage Township residents and PTS employees.
  • Visitors must be 19 years of age or older.
  • Visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • All visitors must provide either a state ID, drivers license, staff ID or student ID at the check-in table.

Additionally, please note the following:
  • Visitors are welcome to use the track and courts. Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Priority for court use goes to our school athletic groups. Courts may be periodically unavailable due to school athletic team practice schedules.
  • The cardio and weight rooms are reserved to meet the conditioning needs of our P.E. classes and student athletes. They are unavailable to the public at this time.
  • The Field House Community Hours may be temporarily unavailable for periods of time due to weather conditions, events, or school breaks. Every effort will be made to notify the public of calendar updates promptly. Any changes in the field house schedule will be posted to our social media pages and shared with our school district stakeholders via ParentSquare. (Join the PTS Community Group on ParentSquare to receive notifications about PTS Community news and events.)
  • Basic rules of behavior and decency must be followed at all times. Anyone who is exhibiting physically or verbally aggressive or obscene behavior will be asked to leave the Field House and may be banned from future visits.
