E-Learning Days

On E-Learning Days, students follow their teachers' directions for completing work. While there are no live sessions with teachers on these days, students are expected to complete the day's assignments.
There are a number of situations in which students and staff participate in E-Learning Days. Portage Township Schools hosts E-Learning Days on the first Wednesday of each month so staff members can participate in valuable professional development opportunities. Students may also participate in E-Learning if extenuating circumstances, such as weather emergencies, dictate that students should learn from home.

Please use the Schoology link below to complete eLearning Day homework.

Internet access is available!

  • Each PTS school provides sidewalk-to-sidewalk internet access at no cost. Families are welcome to park in our lots or sit on a bench on e-learning days to complete work. All school-issued devices will automatically connect to our internet.
  • Our schools have a limited number of hot spots available for families who need internet access at home. Call you child's school and speak with the secretary for more information on how to check out a hot spot.
