PHS students qualify for BPA Nationals

Congrats to Portage High School students Anna Zurek and Kyle Mann for qualifying to compete at the Business Professionals of America (BPA) National Competition this April in Anaheim, California!

Anna, a sophomore, and Kyle, a senior, earned their spots at Nationals after doing well at the Indiana BPA State Competition. In total, three PHS students placed in the top 10 in four different events.

Anna took 1st place in Business Law & Ethics, earning her trip to Nationals.

Kyle placed 5th in PC Configuration and 9th in Cisco Programming.

Sean Bogseth, a junior, finished 5th in Economic Research.

Anna is the fourth PHS student in four years to become a State Champion. This is also the fourth year in a row that PHS students have qualified for the BPA National Competition.

We are very proud of Anna and Kyle and wish them good luck in California!
