Congratulations to the choir students from Fegely Middle School, Willowcreek Middle School, and Portage High School for their incredible success at this past weekend’s Solo & Ensemble competition. Their talent, preparation, and commitment to excellence were on full display throughout the event.
Across all schools, students earned 33 Gold and 8 Silver ratings in Vocal Solo, 6 Gold and 6 Silver ratings in Vocal Ensemble, and 4 Gold ratings in Piano Solo. In addition, several students and groups qualified for the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble competition, including 9 soloists, 7 ensembles, and 2 piano soloists.
